Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how BeanCounter (“BeanCounter,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our software and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Who we are
BeanCounter provides software that helps small businesses manage their bookkeeping. Payments and billing are processed by our payments partner, Polar, who acts as the merchant of record for purchases of the Service. BeanCounter handles your books and the business data you share with the Service.

How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as our payments partner Polar, hosting, and infrastructure providers), and only as needed to provide the Service, or where required by law.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, and afterwards only as required to meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
